confirm-close-surface not working as expected - it now shows a confirm dialog always

Before the latest update, the confirm dialog would only show up, when a process is running, like btop, ssh, etc... Now a confirmation pops regardless whether something is running or not.

I've tried setting confirm-close-surface=true explicitly... but the issue still remains

• Launch ghostty
• Close ghostty
• Confirmation shows up

Do you have shell integration disabled?

Also, if you're using the ghostty-git package from the Arch User Repository, the PKGBUILD was recently split, but some AUR helpers (including yay and paru) appear to skip the ghostty-shell-integration-git and ghostty-terminfo-git packages, so make sure to install them manually with pacman -U.

I'm on Tumbleweed and I recall terminfo-ghostty was removed during a recent update for some strange reason. I thought it might've gotten replaced/included in some other core lib, or whatever.

After reinstalling terminfo-ghostty, it now works again as expected
