emacs colors on macos

Hi All.
I'm having some problems with the colors on emacs while running inside ghostty.
here is how my emacs looks on ghostty:

and here is how it looks on iterm2:

I tried setting window-colorspace = display-p3 on my settings, and I tried using TERM=xterm-256color , both had no effect.
Both TERM=xterm-ghostty and TERM=xterm-256color as presenting exactly the same colors.
COLORTERM is also properly set as truecolor.
My Ghostty theme is whatever is the default dark theme ( I have no special theme selected on settings).

Does anyone have any idea on what can be wrong ?
