the password reset example from convex-auth-example is erroring on submission of "Send password reset code" in the forgot password flow

the deployed example on labs also does not work for password reset flow: https://labs.convex.dev/auth-example

steps to recreate:

clone the above repo
run npx convex dev in new convex project
sign up
sign out
enter password on forgot password form
