Hi,GCST
In the model, the emissions of Fe include both natural and anthropogenic dust as a fraction of 3.5%. I found the corresponding code, which sets the initial solubility of iron for these sources at 1% and 10%, respectively.
Some studies indicate that changes in iron solubility during transport, influenced by atmospheric aging and uptake of acidic species, have been incorporated into the model.

However, I couldn’t locate the relevant code for this process.
Could you clarify whether the solubility of dust iron in the current model remains constant or changes during transport?
Many thanks.
