Job info queue

I would like to know if it is possible, when a job is added, to know its current position in the queue.

Also more generally, to have the position of any job with its taskid.

I use apalis-redis for storage, so via RedisStorage

Unfortunately not really. You could use storage.len() to see the number of items in the queue but this might not necessarily be the value of its position as that relates to the order of the scheduled items.
If you need such a specific value the best advice is to write your own lua script and call it.
