The search should find the checksumpipe while searching on SHA256 it will find the hashpipe

Only difference I see is that HashPipe has SHA256 (but as a part of a word HmacSHA256) not only in the description but also under the Default value while ChecksumPipe only has SHA256 in its description of an attribute

I used to work on Frank!Doc issues when they were on the project board. Can you move it there if I should pick it up?

I can also take a look at it @mhdirkse.
This looks like a frontend issue and last year I had upgraded the frontend from angular.js 1.8 to angular v15

Now, when using the new search algorithm, when I type SHA256 I only get the JwtPipe.

ChecksumPipe is deprecated since 8.3.0 and thus hidden from the homepage search, you can still find it on the index page.

Note: when enabling deprecated elements in the search results I do get the ChecksumPipe
