XMR-Stak Miner SOCKET ERROR

Working perfectly earlier on in the day, I go to relaunch the miner and get the socket error, I have tried changing ports and checking porting issues with my router however problem has not fixed.

please check your internet connection. Try to ping the pool or use telnet to connect to the port of the pool.

Hi thank you for the quick response, I wasn't able to connect to the pool using telnet, and got no response when pinged. One of my friends has the same problem however another can connect fine and continue mining as usual.

xmr-stak-cpu works fine for me on stratum+tcp://bytecoin.uk:7777

The miner started working fine again for me, I don't know what caused it to not work exactly but everything seems to be fine at the moment.

I changed the pool address to bytecoin.uk:7777 from stratum+tcp://bytecoin.uk:7777 and it worked fine

I keep getting socket error. "Socket closed" then reconnects to pool and mines for a while.. Maybe an hour.. Then same socket error. Internet connection is stable.

Pressing "c" i have 7 receive errors: socket closed. Im connected to the official sumokoin pool. Does this just mean it's a bad server?

I can't even reset the ' xmr stack" program to change pool address.

Tjis miner is since years not supported. please download xmr-stak-rx for monero or xmr-stak for oyher cryptonight coins. https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releases
