Dear Frank,

I am a big fan and rediscovered this emulator thanks to you and Adafruit.

I hope you have seen the new development in @PaintYourDragon to add support for real NES joystick and maybe USB generic joystick: https://github.com/PaintYourDragon/pico-infonesPlus

I want to suggest yet another improvement by supporting many Bluetooth joystick by adding an optional ESP32 co-processor using the software BluePad32 by @ricardoquesada https://github.com/ricardoquesada/bluepad32/blob/main/docs/plat_airlift.md

The most interesting version is the one compatible with AirLift board from Adafruit, but it should be possible to convert many Nina firmware board. Not sure if enough pin and capabilities are still available on the RP2040, but since it is a co-processor, the difficult part is offloaded I guess.

No pressure, I would just find that an incredible enhancement.

Regards

David Glaude

PS: I have a wired PS4 joystick working, so I am fine, thank you for this project enhancement.

Hi,

I will try to get hold of the AirLift Adafruit controller.

Thanks for the enhancement request.

Frank
