RiMusic has made a lot of progress and I commend fast4x and the other contributors on their commitment to weekly updates. The app has evolved rapidly, and the sheer amount of customization is incredible. I could easily spend hours changing the player's appearance to make it look like how I want it to, that just goes to show how much you really can customize the app.
However, recent updates seem to have made a concerning level of instability. Several features does not work as intended, and it looks that the devs' focus on UI and customization has come at the expense of necessary functionality. Visual improvements are appreciated but it shouldn't compromise the app's necessary functions.
To make this short, I feel the devs should slow down their pace of UI/UX modifications and focus on the app's basic purpose: to provide a stable and dependable platform for listening to music. I had previously used Innertune, but its infrequent updates led me to switch to RiMusic. The earlier versions of it were simple and reliable. Those were the reasons I chose it over other music streaming apps, and I haven't looked back—until now. I'm hoping that the devs can focus on stability and performance before these issues become unbearable.
Slow down and take a breather. Prioritize basic functionality first, and once everything is fixed and working as intended, introduce further UI and customization updates.
