Load Balancer to handle 5000 devices

Hello Folks,

We are very new to this GPS telematics, we built GT06 protocol parser and backend, we tried implementing Network load balancer, but we failed we are getting only 1 device data, please help on this how to implement this NLB concept to handle 5000 devices, each device pings every 5 sec.

why do you need a load balancer? Do you have multiple backend servers with a common database? Are you using this Platform?

We are planning for high availability and intend to implement multiple backend servers with a single database. We are not using this platform, but I am seeking your expertise and assistance.

Handling 5000 requests every 5 seconds implies about 1000 per second in a system that should be highly available and that task is not easy at all, you should try to implement your protocol in Traccar and set up an infrastructure based on a solid and professional product. Doing it on your own requires a lot of work.
