Describe the bug

wget script fails to generate on second+ attempt. Same error on Chrome (including incognito) and Safari. Sign-in and sign-out is not fixing the problem.

Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1

  • OS:
    Chrome Version 125.0.6422.112
    Safari Version 16.3 (18614.4.6.1.6)
  1. This morning, I put ~30 files in my cart. wget script successfully generated and I downloaded the files.
  2. On the second attempt in the same browser with new data, wget script fails to generate. See screenshot for error
    image
  3. Error workaround for me was:
    a. opening a new browser window (worked once, then failed to work a second time)
    b. opening an incognito browser window (worked once, then failed to work a second time)
    c. opening a different browser and putting together the same order (worked once, then failed to work a second time)

For issues #614 and #615 the solution is signing out and signing back in. I'm unable to sign in. When I click sign in, I can authenticate but then it takes me back to the same page with "sign-in" as an option at the top again (see screenshot for page, plus javascript error)

Thank you for reporting, I am conferring with the team. There is a problem detected on the server too and so we need to investigate.
In the meantime we have a separate deployment: https://nimbus.llnl.gov/metagrid/search
it runs on better server hardware so might be worth a try, I could sign in/out/in just now and generate two separate scripts from new searches each time.

Thanks. I encountered the same problem, but the workaround of signing in and back out worked with the separate deployment.

Do you recall which specific data in the search in the second attempt? (you can "copy" to share if you still have it)

Hello, we have deployed upgrades to our web application. If you still need data could you please give another try?
