• Update the cloud-sdk-go dependency.
• Check that the VERSION environment variable in the Makefile is updated and generate changelog.
• Execute the release.
• Approve homebrew PR: Update ecctl version to 1.12.0 homebrew-tap#163
• Modify the conf.yaml file in the docs repository to add the release branch. Update conf.yaml for ecctl 1.12.0 release docs#2878
• Run a full doc rebuild.
• Alert marketing team to update downloads website with new links.
• Celebrate 🎉
