Huge ammount of monitoring data

Hello Beats team.

Platform: Elastic Cloud
After upgrading from 7.17.8 to 8.10.2, a customer started experiencing a huge increase in monitoring data incoming in their cluster which is used to receive Logs & Metrics from other clusters.

What was usually 500k docs per day, now it's 22M/day.

We understand it's used for Stack Monitoring but since it's too much information about index operations, we would like to rollback the change and receive only active operations.
