We're reviewing this package as a way to connect with Salesforce from our cloud environment. We noticed in the repo description the app is designed for "connecting Spark with Salesforce and Salesforce Wave."
However, in the parameter documentation the username and password fields are specifically said to be for salesforce wave integration.
username: Salesforce Wave Username. This user should have privilege to upload datasets or execute SAQL or execute SOQL
password: Salesforce Wave Password. Please append security token along with password. For example, if a user’s password is mypassword, and the security token is XXXXXXXXXX, the user must provide mypasswordXXXXXXXXXX
Its unclear if there are other login credentials fields that should be used with general salesforce applications, or if the documentation is just wrong and the username/password can be used with both Salesforce and Salesforce Wave
