How to make context menu stop popping up on General View on mouse click?

Hey folks,

I tend to be a little "click happy" when working a diagram. Clicking randomly in white space, but also I notice this when clicking on relationships between elements. This seems to invoke a new context menu that shows a search bar and invites me to create new elements under the headings "Requirements," "Structure," and so on. Is there a way to turn this off?

Version is 2025.1.0, Windows 11, FireFox browser on the quick install Docker deployment.

Hello,

There is no way to turn off the context menu when clicking on the background of a diagram, or when clicking on a node/edge.
But If you click on Escape key when the context menu is visible, it will disappear.

In addition, you also have the possibility to do Alt+click (or option+click on macOS) to select a graphical element without opening the contextual menu. It also works on the background of any diagram.
