Full Year blank until highlighted

Anyone found a fix for this ?

I have a full year display and addDates to the calendar but the calendar is blank until its highlighted, once any date is clicked the added dates then appear.

If i move to next or previous month or click any date my added dates appear, I also want to disable highlighting but not grey out the dates.

Anyone had this issue or have a fix i could try.
