Refactor internals to consolidate and minimize implementation

Focus refactoring efforts on the following areas:

• Node object management: CRUD, API and views
• Model import: XML import to be based on domain model operations
• Code consolidation: Disable or remove unneeded controller and views from domain objects deemed internal to the model.
• Rename: Where clarification is needed, rename internal domain classes to better express use.
• Unit tests: Create unit tests for Node and Import operations
