Not sure if i'm doing this the right way but here goes,

I attempted to set up my Plex instance but ran into a couple of issues that may be quite simple to address

1, A lack of channel number in the name makes matching the list harder than it needs to be

2, Some channels have both HD an non HD variations, unfortunately Plex doesn't allow you to set the same channel data for multiple channels, Channel 4 is a good example of this

Hopefully these are simple to rectify, Many Thanks for reading this

Number 2 is simple enough to rectify, so I can definitely do that (as well as cleaning up channel IDs so that they match against the IPTV database).

Number 1 is a little harder since not all of these channels are on every platform - so I'll probably match them to Freeview and add numbers based on category. Would that work?

Thank you for the prompt response,

Yeah that will definately make it easier, I can do a little post processing on my side if need be

To give a little context, I've found the default Plex guide tends to have holes where nothing is listed for a particular time, It tends to be more for sporting events than anything else, but when you have those holes you can't even manually record

My plan is to pull and parse your EPG into a DB, At that point i can add any channel mapping or channel duplication for plex, plex will then pull from the DB on my local network, This also gives me the opportunity to fill in any blanks or descrepancies

Thank you again for taking the time to reply to me
