idk exactly when this issue started, as its been a while since i needed to sync,

but now i cant sync with the error

rbw sync: failed to sync database from server: failed to parse JSON: missing field `access_token` at line 1 column 25

clearly something has changed with the bw api

can you give more details about what you're doing when this happens? are you using the official bitwarden server or a self-hosted one? i've never seen this issue myself so it's a bit difficult for me to track down.

I had the same issue when using official bitwarden server. Got it fixed by running rbw purge. Using rbw 1.13.0. I had only manually fetched some secrets and opened my vault on the first request but initially logged in months ago.

I have the same issue with:

$ rbw -V
rbw 1.13.2

and official https://vault.bitwarden.com/

Indeed rbw purge helps and makes rbw sync work. With the official backend I have TOTP configured, as with sync I needed to provide master password and TOTP pin.
