You can no longer play music, even though you have -nocd as the command and the music files are in the “Music” folder.

I don't know about the music but do not use -nocd anymore, it's deprecated.

does work fine for me on the latest alpha

You can no longer play music, even though you have -nocd as the command and the music files are in the “Music” folder.

Please share a log file. Also make sure you do not have a -cd command line added, which makes the music from cd play.
