Look into adding the Silver Line. Yes it's really just a bus, but unlikely to add much clutter on its own. Downside: requires hard-coding the specific line/route IDs. Edit: no longer applies since 6cdfdcb.

Anecdote: Tested out adding this, and immediately noticed a "SL3 delayed 20 minutes due to traffic" alert that was more than 12 hours long (?!), escaping the transient? filter. Would need to revisit this filter before adding the Silver Line. Should we specifically filter out TRAFFIC and any other causes that seem "inherently transient"?
