How to set up Speech Bubbles?

Hi there,

I want to use the speech bubble layout but have difficulties understanding how to set it up.
I made a custom style, that i made from the preset. It works fine when I press «Play Timeline» in the dialogic menu. My question is how do I set it up to work in game. I tried to add a control node with a script where i followed the instructions in the fallback node. I linked the path to the timeline in my folder structure for «var layout = Dialogic.start()». In _process() I added layout.register_character(load(path_to_character), 2Dnode_in_scene).

I’m obviously doing something wrong, but I don’t know what? I’m not that well versed in gd_script—or scripting in general—so I’m at my wits end, as I can’t find any examples to abstract from. I’m not even sure if I need to also place the scene with the speechbubble layout into the scene or if this gets loaded through script when I use «Dialogic.start('tl_name').

I found this demo project that has an example scene with speech bubbles. From this I was able to adapt it to my project. Thanks so much for providing this : )
