A sane system administrator would use SSH keys for their servers instead of plain password.
One might argue that strong passwords can prevent a server from being compromised but why not secure the server even further through only allow SSH keys logins?
I would like to suggest GPX to add support for SSH keys for the remote game server so that the login from the master doesn't to the slave/remote is done securely through SSH keys.

If this ends up being a thing, I suggest keeping it as simply an option. Personally SSH keys, while are very secure, are just too much of a hassle for me.
