Project 3 Issues

Why is this important?

This workshop is important because:

  • Reviewing other developers' code is one of the primary activities of a working developer
  • Fixing code can teach as much as writing code

What are the objectives?

After this workshop, developers will be able to:

  • Create 2 - 4 issues on another team's app
  • Complete open issues on your application

Where should we be now?

Before this workshop, developers should already be able to:

  • Created a group Rails project that is deployed to Heroku

Requirements

  • Create 2 - 4 issues on the following teams Repo
    • Members of Playback submit issues for Lists of Lists
    • Members of Lists of Lists submit issues for Spotify Local Music
    • Members of Spotify Local Music should submit issues for Election Tracker
    • Members of Election Tracker should submit issues for Playback
  • Issues
    • Review the Technical Requirements for Teams first
      • Do you think the team is missing a requirement?
      • Is there a bug that is directly related to the technical requirements?
      • Is there a bug that stops some functionality?
      • Does a styling issue cause you to misunderstand functionality?
      • Is there a simple extension that the team could make?
  • Review any issues submitted by the consultants
  • In the next day you will be assigned issues to complete by the consultants
    • Complete any issues assigned to Team as the team sees fit
    • Complete any issues assigned to you
    • Issues that are not assigned are items that the team should choose to either assign and fix or close those issues.
    • All assigned issues must be completed before the project is considered complete
