[bug] Explanations are cut off for many items

There appears to be a visual bug in the app that prevents the full Meaning Explanation and Reading Explanation content from displaying properly in some cases. Rarely I can force it to temporarily show the missing words by clicking the Note icon to add a note and tap on the text with the keyboard open, but it reverts to the broken state after navigating away from the item.

Things I have tried but failed to resolve:

• Ceared the app's cache
• Logged out of the app and re-login
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the app
