We recently encountered a bug in the last release that is causing issues for Dask-CUDA. More details in issue ( dask/distributed#6749 ).

Reposting here my recent dask/distributed#6749 (comment) for increased visibility:

I think I was now able to work around that in rapidsai/dask-cuda#955 . I'll just wait for confirmation until tomorrow morning, but unless some other problem emerges regarding that we should be fine with the release going out as is.

Gabe just submitted PR ( dask/distributed#6777 ) to revert the change that caused issue ( dask/distributed#6749 )

dask/distributed#6777 is in, so we should be good to go for the release. I'm currently occupied, but will start pushing out the release within the hour
