It would be good to have a .async_connect() method or something that can be used with async functions.
.async_connect()
We could then use this where we need to run some async code (e.g. https://github.com/ruundii/bthidhub/blob/d617ac7753e941d4622fc67535fa5937a3fccb44/adapter.py#L66).
