Hi there,

I've been following your instructions as well as the YT video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndIan0YCL-I but I get the error vJoy Driver version (219) does NOT match vJoy DLL Version (218).

When I'm in the game I get a massive red holographic warning that says the same. I also often get the warning that ED is not in focus and I have no idea what that means but nothing works.

I have zero programming skills and am very noob at any of this stuff so I was wondering if anyone could help me out!? I love ED and would LOVE to make this work. I'm also completely new to Oculus and VR. Sorry! If you could help me out I'd be really appreciative!

The vJoy issue is related to #106. Basically I'm going to have to update my copy of vJoy and drop a new dll in.

Oculus controls issues are #14 which is blocked on an upstream bug.

Hello all,
I am actually setting up my Occulus trough Steam to use this AWESOME mod. For the moment, I managed to set up the ship rotation, but I wasn't able to setup anything else (A B X and Y Buttons, and the triggers).

I know the joystick aren't working yet, but I would like to know if anybody knows how to setup the other buttons to scan, shoot etc.

Thank you very much (and thank you very much dantaman for this amazing mods making my purchase of ED worth it)

@Blasteur13 Both the axis and the buttons are in the controls menu when edit mode and menu mode are both on.

Remember that you're not binding controller buttons, but a virtual equivalent on the virtual throttle and joystick. So you have to be holding the throttle/joystick while pressing one of the triggers/buttons to use it.

Hi, from the vJoy-author Shaul Eizikovich I got the following answer yesterday:

"This message is annoying but it probably does not affect your system.
It means that you have a driver (v2.1.9) that is newer than the DDL that is
the interface to it.
Since there are no new API changes introduced between these versions I am
sure it is OK.
You can remove it by replacing your DLL file (vJoyInterface.dll) by the
latest file (in C:\Program Files\vJoy\x64 to )."

Replacing the DLL (inside the folder with Elite VR Cockpit.exe) solved the problem described (and led me to the next problems :-( ).

Hope this helps - Stefan
