We're using a specific font for our event, but I can't change the font to bold or semi-bold. Is there anything that can be done to fix that?

Hi David, I'm brand new to this site so forgive me if I'm doing this wrong!
I have exactly the same question! I thought that maybe two words weren't permitted, like "Arial Bold", so I enclosed them in quotes in the .properties file, but that didn't seem to help either. I also looked for a different font in my fonts folder that seemed to be a bit heavier as a default, but also couldn't seem to get that working. Admittedly, I didn't have a lot of time to play though. I'm using Windows 7.
This is a great little application though. We are going to be using it this Sunday, pushing the text to vMIX as a lower third overlay on live video.

Hey @SeanFromBoP, I don't really have the best solution, but what I was able to do was uninstall the weights of the fonts that I didn't want. For Example, we used Proxima Nova, and I wanted semi-bold. I uninstalled all of the weights lower than semi-bold and then it worked. After the event, I just reinstalled the weights. I hope that helps.

Thanks David. Potentially, I could also pick the font and weight that I want, and then copy and rename to something like "SD_Font1" for example, and then refer to that. If we want to change the font, then copy and paste the second one and call it "SD_Font2", for example. No need for uninstalling and having to remember to re-install.
Can then make profuse comments of what the original font was in the .properties file to make it easy to remember/understand what was done a year or two later.
Having said that, I was hoping there would be a 'proper', non-workaround' way of doing this. I'll have a closer look and post something if I come up with an answer.
Thanks, for that. Sean.
