• Visual Regression testing with Cypress and cypress-image-snapshot tutorial.

This is an article from Lloyd Baxter published on Mar 5, 2019. It refers to the now obsolete and unmaintained package cypress-image-snapshot and explains how to use it with legacy versions of Cypress. The link in the article to the author's example code https://github.com/norwichnodeusergroup is dead and produces a 404 error.

Suggestion

On the page Tooling > Visual Testing > Do It Yourself either

• remove the link to the obsolete article Visual Regression testing with Cypress and cypress-image-snapshot or
• replace it with an equivalent up-to-date article covering the usage of @simonsmith/cypress-image-snapshot if any such article exists

• change cypress-image-snapshot to maintained fork #5276 from @simonsmith replaced the link to the unmaintained plugin palmerhq/cypress-image-snapshot with the maintained plugin simonsmith/cypress-image-snapshot in the Cypress documentation Plugins list > Visual Testing section.
