I would like to be able to show the distance of my gear (bike) in miles instead kilometers.

I'll second this, in the US it would be nice to have imperial units, to match Garmin Connect.

Just adding my support of this. My default in Garmin Connect is imperial and I was surprised to see all values in Home Assistant as metric.
