Hello, the pending (non-locked) messages are lost after worker restart. The solution is to resend the postgres notification after worker restart. I made a fork and uploaded these changes there.
More the message id is sent in payload of the notification so the message locking is more easy and atomic and so I removed the random choice of pending messages by plpgsql function. Feel free to merge it.
