Automated end-to-end testing suite

Currently most of the matrix config testing is done manually so this would be good to automate for quality, consistency, and stability.

AC:

• A helm install and upgrade matrix-style automated tests suite is run on pull requests
• A helm install and upgrade matrix-style automated tests suite is run on master builds

KinD is a way to test, this issue is about what we test. More specifically it's about the lack of permutations of settings that we test automatically.
