Do I need to do anything to close my code spaces instance, and release the resources?

• You can click the Codespaces icon in the lower left (or use the VS Code option menu) and choose Shutdown Codespace
  • Your Codespace will automatically shutdown after 30 min of non-use
  • This will be configurable in a future release, including "never"

GitHub recently added the shutdown configuration for Codespaces so you can adjust when your Codespace times out. "Never" isn't available yet.
