Less permanent extented stem for trackpoint?

Hi,
In the guide, you use labret piercing and glued to trackpoint. I found a trackpoint extender 3d file. Is there enough clearance to design a adapter from trackpoint to labret piercing? I prefer less permanent way, or I juse glue it to the red trackpoint hat, and get another hat if I need to.

I think the clearance would be not enough or you would have probably also cut uf the edges of the switches.

ok, I didn't ask clearly enough. I was meant to ask the height clearance from trackpoint itself to the plate/plane where switch clip to.

Ah sorry, the clearance between the trackpoint and the case plate is very low. The "plastic socket" of the trackpoint will be more or less flush with the top of the PCB when mounted to it. Therefore there is very little room until the case plate comes.
