This could save a ton of money if implemented for all, I mean you only pay for what you use and the amount you use, so why pay for a server that you might not use all the time, so here I guess using serverless infrastructure is a perfect solution. Especially that you are based on javascript and can deploy using docker, let me show you what I think is the best and why I am requesting more info about serverless deployment.
Could be used yeah, if you are in a company or other organization you might want to host on premise and could use kubernetes to scale... but I think we first need to improve load balancing to scale single rooms across servers.
