We can receive encrypted traffic if we install keys in the firmware, but not without this, the firmware will not allow encrypted frames to pass up to mac80211.

Suggested workaround is to unset the protected bit on encrypted traffic on the transmitter side, and re-set it on receiver side. This breaks interoperability.

In parallel, we have asked wcn36xx maintainers for a way to disable filtering of protected traffic when no keys are installed.
