What happened?

I conducted two tests, in a specific server.

  1. Recording the Clip ingame and immediately opening the Rockstar Editor from the Esc Menu; Result: Crash with no error.
    Log file:
    CitizenFX_log_2025-01-31T143418.log

  2. Recording the Clip ingame, closing the game, starting fivem and acessing "Replay editor" from the main fivem menu, opening the clip. Result: Crash with the error An exception occurred (c0000005 at 0x7ff60f197b8b) during loading of paleto_fact in data file mounter 00007ffd28d94270. The game will be terminated., where "paleto_fact" is the name of a resource. However, the problem happened before with other resources.

Expected result

Rockstar Editor to open properly

Reproduction steps

  1. Join a server with escrowed streamed assets
  2. Record a rockstar editor clip
  3. Open the clip in rockstar editor

Importancy

Slight inconvenience

Area(s)

FiveM

Specific version(s)

Fivem, Server 12508 build 3258, Client Ver. 11145/specific/feature/archetype_dupes,

Additional information

This has been a long time issue in the server in question, which has a lot of streamed assets. I am unsure what causes it, but believe to be related to escrowed assets.
