Hi,

In 2.6.0 I see

SHAREDLIB_MAJORVERSION=8 in Makefile
and
major_version = '7' in meson.build

Which one os the right version ?

Ok, based on our ABI scanning it didn't seem to affect ABI of the library though. Ping @valentindavid

Anyway, this issue is fixed now.
