Google Drive Error - Check the log for more information #343
Comments
This is likely related to the same breaking change that came with the latest Google TV version. Causing any new Google Drive logins (or cached logins) from working, due to changes in permissions used. |
I'm not sure, as on the other issue people complain about new logings, not exisiting ones. But you may be right. It changed when I updated the Chromecast. |
I checked yesterday Kodi on my Chromecast HD and Google Drive addon was working ok. I have copied accounts from PC. Didn't make any updates of Google TV. |
Try to upload Google TV and check. |
To me, it sounds like you probably had the login working for a while after the Google TV update, and then the login expired (happened to me), and then any attempts to refresh or re-login fails. |
It's still working, Google TV propably updated itself, because main screen icons changed to round shaped and I didn't turn auto updates off. |
Is there a workaround for this? Is this related to #345? |
Describe the bug (Required 🔴)
When trying to open a folder from Google Drive, I'm getting this error shown on the top right of the screen as a red notification:
Google Drive Error - check the log for more information
However, I see no information on the logs from Kodi.
I had no issues before, this just started happening.
The Kodi is installed on Google Chromecast with Google TV.
I have another Kodi on another TV (a Xiaomi one) which still works with no issues.
It was before updating Kodi to the latest 20.0.1, happening on 19.x.
After upgrading the same error, nothing changes.
To Reproduce (Required 🔴)
Just open the addon, and press on "My drive". It will throw the error.
Your debug log file (Required 🔴)
Put here the URL of your debug log file. Follow the steps in https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy if you don't know how to get the file.
