Minimal examples missing

I have tried for 2 hours to create a chart with cetz-plot but have completely failed beyond pasting some of the few examples. I am trying to create an extremely simply horizontal bar chart with one bar. Impossible. There are no examples in the manual and there is no example code on the typst page.

There are endless ways of importing the package. Sometimes it's within the scope of the canvas function, sometimes outside with examples breaking between different import permutations.

Having a small up-to-date list of actual workable examples showing how to create 1 page with different charts and explaining how the data format relates to the charts would be extremely helpful. I would write it myself and create a PR, but I honestly do not understand how this works. Any help would be fantastic 🙏

Minimal example that doesn't show anything at all:

Here is a minimal example for one horizontal bar:

Doing bar-charts using the plot.* API is possible but involves some manual work. chart.barchart is a wrapper function that should help a bit.
