Show recent posts from other sites on wordpress multisite

On WordPress multi-site setups, it would sometimes be nice to be able to show recent posts from another site in the network, Currently, this can be done using RSS, but it looks somewhat ugly.

Sorry for the very late reply. I've been swamped with work and real life stuff recently (no pun intended).

At the moment there's really no good way to have Recently list recent posts from another site in the network.

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking I could add some action hooks to the plugin to let people use, for example, the switch_to_blog() function so the query reads posts data from another site and not from the current one. Would need to experiment with that idea for a bit and see if it's something that could work though.
