Hello! I'm Bruno Jacob.

I am currently a machine learning engineer at Carpe Data. Prior to that, I completed my PhD in Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of California, Santa Barbara, under the supervision of Prof. Linda Petzold.

And prior to that I completed my Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering at the Universidade Federal de Uberlandia (Brazil), and at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

My current research interests include

Developing ensemble methods to perform entity resolution of unlabeled, unstructured data.

Developing strategies to eliminate Gibbs phonomenon in Fourier pseudospectral methods in regions of discontinuities in boundary value problems.
