the params are not showing up for me when i put them in the system instructions for the prompt - this is new as they worked before this weekend

Ah! The name of parameters can't have spaces. You can put dashes or underscores in them, and they will show up as spaces in port names.

oh, got it. that was what i was doing last week but i didnt realise it was necessary. sorry - i am just learning this stuff. will try to be a good student and pick things up quickly so i dont bother you too much with silly questions.
