Recent update - Dataview does not recognise emoji

Recently did the update to Obsidian 1.5.12 and now some of my queries from my Home Page no longer work.

• Error 1 - The dataview query correct shows things like Status "🟢 Active" but when I click on the table record to open the note, it is looking for "null Active" and therefore opens a brand new note with this title rather than the actual note itself.
• Error 2 - I have some queries on my Home Page for things like recent notes and note counts, these no longer appear to work (example shown below)...

I have "gone back to basics" from a clean vault and established there seems to be no error.

I have since gone into restricted mode and gradually reenabled my plugins and somehow have resolved the issue, I cannot pin-point just exactly what has caused it.
