creation of Anki file not working in Mac OS 12.0.1

Hi,
In Mac OS 12.0.1, running on an M1 Macbook Air, clicking on the Anki button creates the text in the text box, but no popup appears for file creation, and no file is created.

This can be verified as working in the older macOS version, but not in the current version. (we tested in the office mac). It worked in an old version, so we updated and noticed it did not work.

Thanks for checking into this, it sounds fairly typical of mac OS updates. I have installed the Firefox version and it is working fine, so I'm set in any case. Re the pattimokkha chanting - before the pandemic I was spending quite a bit of time at Amaravati in the UK as a lay helper; hearing a large sangha doing the long chants was very impressive! This is on the TPP website page.  can you try this? 
It was told to us that with Mac OS one should go into System Preferences – Security and Privacy – open the Firewall and the Admin should allow the App for “Incoming connection”. After doing this, the App functions properly.
