Grabber disappears when source is switched off

Hi,

I have an issue with my Wisfox USB Grabber disappearing from HyperHDR when I switched of or disconnected the source. It is still visible in the OS but I have to restart the hypervdr service to get it back in HyperHDR.

Is this a known problem? Any help for this?

Did you disconnect the grabber from the USB port? I guess it was disconnected from the system at some moment that's why HyperHDR can't use it in the current session. The answer should be in your log anyway after you perform such action.

Lol, right now I can't reproduce it while I had it a dozen times yesterday and today :D

Will check the log when it happens again.

Also happens without any obvious reason from time to time. Device is still visible in the OS.

The connection looks good. Check dmesg from the command line next time the grabber disconnects and save it, because problem exists. Search for any error (during first seconds on startup some errors are normal), grabber disconnection and warnings about voltage.

Okay, a lot of errors there. Maybe I send it back and get a new one, just to make sure its not broken (or is broken) ^^

I moved the Grabber from the Pi's USB3 to a USB2 port and no crash so far. Will observe...
