WordPress is currently experimenting with supporting dark mode. After installing the Dark Mode plugin there is some colour changes that need to be applied so the settings page is readable.

I think at the same time I should consider supporting prefers-color-scheme: dark media query which at the moment is only available in the Safari Technology Preview on macOS Mojave with dark mode set.
