An error Error in tz$year : object of type 'closure' is not subsettable is raised every time this line gets executed, because tz does not exist, unlike in the reference implementation: https://github.com/appelmar/bfast/blob/master/R/bfastts.R#L73

Fixed in my fork now, commit bfast2/bfast@7613033.
