Challenge 4: Partners are at different stages of Data Readiness

Summary

• This challenge is one that has been identified longer than the others. Although all partners have the ultimate goal of practicing and promoting best practices in data science, and the goals of the DSWB community, the steps taken so are not all commensurate to achieving this.

What needs to be done?

• 1:1 consultation through co-working or technical partners. An example of this is the co-working call.

• Sharing of open education resources and training opportunities ( open communication: Discord, GitHub, Meetings). Get people to ask about what they need, and share resources related to them.

• Periodic check-ins to analyze current progress across other partners. Inquire about, and update gap analysis. What are recent KPIs, and how are we meeting them?
